Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. II Timothy 2:15

Thank you for clicking on this section, it shows you have a desire to Study the Word of God and to know Him even better, but before you proceed let me offer you a friendly reminder.  That is this, scripture is not supposed to be skimmed like Facebook or a twitter feed.  Growth and transformation come from meditation on the Word of God and the discipline of aligning the mind to think on the things that scripture is training it to think. (Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:2; Psalm 119:97; Psalm 119:148; I Timothy 4:15).  Therefore, a student of the Bible must always be on guard not to prize efficiency over efficacy, and become mentally lazy.  They must be careful not to substitute the rapid access to information for the mental labor of hiding God’s Word in the heart. (Psalm 119:11).

While I strongly recommend that you make the most of the incredible tools technology affords us as Bible students.  Please take advantage of the unparalleled number of resources available, and use them to make new personal discoveries and connections in God’s Word.  Use them to be as efficient as you can be.

But, whatever you do, please do not forget to also take the time necessary to meditate on the Word of God.  Use the time you saved during research to memorize and be mesmerized by the scripture.  It is only then, once scripture fully resides in the mind, that it can truly transform you. (Romans 12:2).  May this site truly help you to grow and not hinder your growth in Christ Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you. I Timothy 4:15-16
